The Pennsylvania State Police Troop H - Harrisburg Station is searching for 41-year-old James Azevedo Lewis Jr. in connection with the 2022 assault.
A warrant for his arrest on charges of aggravated assault- victim less than 6 and defendant 18 or older, endangering the welfare of children- parent/guardian/other commits offense, simple assault, and harassment- subject other to physical contact, according to his latest court docket.
He is also thought to have been "endangering the welfare of children in Dauphin Borough," state police said in the release.
He has previously served prison time for driving under the influence for a 2010 offense in Lancaster County, simple assault for a 2019 offense in Dauphin County, and two counts of indecent assault for a person Less than 13 years of age and corruption of minors for a 2008 incident in Lancaster County, according to court records.
In total, he spent less than a year in prison and five years of probation for sentences totaling over 4 years of confinement and over 6 years of probation, according to updated court dockets.
Tipsters could be eligible for a cash reward if their information leads to an arrest, the solving of a crime/cold case, or the location of a wanted person/fugitive or missing person.
